If you are planning a trip to Australia it might be the first time you have visited this magnificent country. With a land mass of nearly 3 million square miles, it is no surprise if you are not sure where to head for your holiday!
Many people choose to take their holiday in or around Brisbane, in Queensland. There are many choices when thinking about Brisbane accommodation and many people choose to spend a few nights there before moving on.
Although the third city of Australia in terms of population, it makes an excellent start to your holiday as a gateway to the Sunshine Coast or as a starting point for a visit to Alice Springs and Ayers Rock. Many people choose to fly in to Brisbane and out through Sydney or vice versa to make the most of their time.
One popular trip is flying in through Sydney then taking a connecting flight to Alice Springs. They visit Ayers Rock and everything else that the area has to offer; then after the heat of the interior they fly back to the coastal area of Brisbane.
From Brisbane they can visit the gorgeous resorts dotted along the coast such as Noosa or Fraser, which is the largest sand dune island in the world. The Queensland coast is home to lush rainforests and visitors to Noosa can have the best of both worlds – a lively and vibrant resort with a rainforest in the background just waiting to be explored.
